BusPatrol

BusPatrol
Kimberly Borza

At the December 2 meeting, the Carlynton Board of School Directors approved a new student safety initiative in partnership with BusPatrol.

In the coming weeks, all buses that provide transportation to and from Carlynton schools will be equipped with stop-arm enforcement cameras to identify drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses while red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended. These violations will be reviewed by local law enforcement, and citations will be issued to violators.

This program reflects our strong commitment to the safety of every student. By discouraging dangerous driving behaviors near school buses, this technology will provide an additional layer of protection for children as they travel to and from school.
